We recommend bringing a stiff pillow or a rolled up blanket to this class.

This class focuses on healing the mind and body through various poses/stretches and detoxifying twists.
Throughout the class you may be holding poses anywhere from 5 seconds to 5 minutes. This not only
enables you to truly settle into the pose, but it also helps increase your flexibility and allows you to get the
full benefits of that pose. During this time we may use bolsters, blocks, straps, or neck pillows while holding
a pose, these props allow you to go deeper, have better stability, and allow you to relax more in the pose.

By twisting and folding the body, you begin to detoxify by gently massaging your internal
organs. This not only rids your body of toxins but also aids in digestion.

To calm your mind and allow for greater relaxation there is delicate music playing softly in the background,
and there is a full five minutes spent in savasana (corpse pose) at the end.
Also depending on the class there may be guided relaxation to ease you into your five minute savasana.

This is a sixty minute class that is suitable for all ages and experience levels.

Please note: If you have any health issues or injuries, please mention before class begins so the
needed modifications can be given.
